I found it impossible to call on thy dear sister yesterday & as I shall not be home for some days I do beg thee to write me a few lines hither to say how she is going on
I almost hoped to see thy father[2] on Monday night – as I had forgotten he was to dine at the Can-Pio’s or <Proxx-Can> —
